I picked up a copy of the Sarah Shirt pattern with an issue of Simply Sewing Magazine. The Sarah shirt is a design from By Hand London.
I chose a cotton check to sew up my Sarah shirt and I loved the way it turned out.
The shirt was a good fit and the size seemed appropriate for my measurements. The only area I would change for my next version is the upper sleeve and armhole. It was a little snug and I think I would expand the upper sleeve and scoop out the armhole to make it more comfortable.
I love the cuff finishes, the cut of the yoke and the way the collar sits feels lovely. I also really like the slight swing cut, perfect for my shape.
