I have used Simplicity 1160 three times so far. The first version was from some thrifted fabric in view A which I love and wear all of the time. It’s comfy but the cross over front is a bit more interesting than my other t-shirts.
My other two versions are okay but I don’t love them so they don’t get worn as much and generally only around the house. They are both rescued fabric from attempts at finding a wrap dress pattern that I was happy with. The dress patterns didn’t work out but the fabric lived on from the skirt sections.
It’s a simple pattern and a quick and easy sew. Perfect for a beginner or any knit lovers. I had to make a centre seam in the front and back to fit the pieces out of the dresses I was using. I don’t know that this will be the last stop for these fabrics they may have another transformation in them yet…
