Simplicity 1376

Simplicity 1376

I have made three versions of view D now and it is a hit! It’s a joy to sew, the pieces fit together really well and the construction is simple and easy to follow. It is comfortable and flattering and the style can be casual or dressed up depending on your fabric choice.

The only modification I have made was to sew the V neck opening together at the bottom 5cm to give myself a little more coverage. Its still quite low but I am more comfortable with the extra stitching.

I love wearing all three versions. The first is an Amy Butler fabric that I had been saving for something that I was confident would survive trends and that I could wear casually or special occasions.

The black and white version is a thrifted fabric that looks quite formal and the pale pink version is a rayon from Spotlight that is so soft and floaty to wear.
