I picked out this Butterick B5955 pattern last Summer as I had some georgette that I had earmarked to be a beach cover up.

I made version D lengthened without any other alterations and on my 180cm frame it finishes just below my bottom.

I have not worn it over swimmers but I have worn it over a cami with shorts or over a body con dress so it is a pretty versatile little wardrobe addition.
It is a simple sew and beginners should be able to follow the instructions without any difficulty. My only struggle was with the flimsy fabric but that is necessary for what I wanted to use it for.
There is plenty of ease in this design so no need for any full bust adjustments with this one.

This one was a quick, easy sew and a nice one to have on hand in my pattern stash.
