This was a free pattern that came with a Simply Sewing Magazine. My babies are fully grown now so it sat idle for awhile, waiting to find the right person to pass it onto. One of my cousins had a baby girl and I thought this might make a cute gift for our newest family member.
It was a little fiddly to put together but I think this was because I am not used to sewing anything so little anymore rather than any construction issues.
I like that there are no fasteners and the back loop keeps the shoulder straps in place without giving the bubba something hard to lay on. I think the recipient of my gift looks gorgeous and will happily make again for another bubby one day.
